Big Spring Insulation was founded in 2019 by a West Texas native who got tired of watching neighbors overpay on energy bills because their homes were not properly insulated. Big Spring sits at 2,400 feet on the open Llano Estacado, and the heat, wind, and dust here are unlike anything in greener parts of the state. The company started small, working on older homes in Howard County that were built in the 1950s and 1960s - the kind of houses constructed before modern energy standards existed. Over time, the business grew to serve communities across the region, from Midland and Odessa to smaller towns like Forsan, Coahoma, and Stanton.
